SPRING BUSH SURVIVAL EXERCISE MAY 7, 2022

As part of the Air Cadet mandatory program, ALL cadets will have to participate to an aircrew bush survival exercise on Saturday May 7, 2022. The exercise will take place at Colonie Ste-Jeanne d'Arc in Contrecoeur, QC.

The objective is to familiarize our cadets with the different techniques to survive in an outdoor environment. Cadets will learn how to build a shelter, make a fire, cook their meals and sleep in a military tent or an improvised shelter. They will have to apply a wide range of skills and to work as a team within their respective instructional levels under the leadership of their senior cadets and officers.

Cadets will need to report to Marie Victorin Community Center at 07:00 on Saturday May 7, 2022 with their personal equipment listed in the kit list. The dress for this activity is the cadet Field Training Uniform (Green) with FTU tall boots. Lunch and dinner will be provided during the exercise.

Cadets will be transported by bus to the training site and will be brought back at Marie Victorin Community Center at 20:00 on Saturday May 7, 2022. Plenty of fun in perspective with many great things to learn in an outdoor environment.

ALL cadets have to confirm whether they will attend or not the activity by completing the registration form no later than May 1, 2022 on our squadron's website event:
