OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: FLIGHT GROUND SCHOOL

Greetings everyone,

This year, only cadets who meet all the requirements to do the glider or power pilot course next summer will be eligible to join the National online ground school program. If you do not meet the requirement for this year you can still join the activity and prepare to get ready for next year. We will introduce you to all the knowledge your need to successfully complete the On-Line Course. More information will follow in the Teams group.

To register, please send an e-mail to the officer in charge of Flight Ground School: pierre-luc.larcheveque@338squadron.ca. Registration for the on-line course must be done no later than October 14th.

Glider pilot course:

Minimum Age - 16 years old by 1 Sep 2023

Proficiency Level - Qualified Level 3 by 30 Jun 2023

Minimum Grade Completed before next summer - Secondary 3

Physical limitations :

Minimum height 152.4 cm Maximum height 190.5 cm

Minimum weight 40.82 kg Maximum weight 90.72 kg

Minimum Age - 17 years old by 1 Sep 2023

Proficiency Level - Qualified Level 4 by 30 Jun 2023

Minimum Grade Completed before next summer - Secondary 4

Physical limitations : Maximum weight 111.13 kg
