TWO JUNIOR WILDCATS CADETS WINS AT THE REGIONAL OPTIMIST CLUB EFFECTIVE SPEAKING COMPETITION

Every year, our sponsor, the Brossard Optimist Club organize an effective speaking competition for local teenagers. This year two of our Junior Wildcats cadets Sgt Hena Chen and Fcpl Chelsea Zhang practiced with our effective speaking team and took part to the Optimist competition.

Both Junior Wildcats cadets qualified for the local competition and were selected for the regional level competition. At this level, three finalist are presented a $2500 scholarship for first place, $1500 for second place and $1000 for third place.

We are pleased to announce that Fcpl Chelsea Zhang got second place and will receive a $1500 scholarship and Sgt Hena Chen got third place and will receive a $1000 scholarship.

Congratulations to Fcpl Zhang and Sgt Chen for such an achievement. A big thank you goes to their coach C.I. Sabrina Gallant-Monette who helped them prepare for the competition.
