As we are slowly but surely switching our method of communication towards Teams. So, it's more than time to activate your Cadets365 account. We stopped posting sensitive information on open platforms like Facebook or on our website. So if you want to be kept in the loop, send a request NOW to 338air@cadets.gc.ca with your cadet name and we will forward the procedure to activate your account.
More on this topic, Saturday OCT 11th 2025, we will delete all the members on our private Facebook page. As explained in an earlier communication, we want to keep ONLY active cadets and parents on this Private page.
So, be ready to re-submit a request AND answer the questions to gain access the page once again. Failure to answer the questions will result in your request to be denied.
Another topic that we wish to address this week to cadets and parents: PUNCTUALITY!
It's imperative that you adjust your timing to be at the activity you want to attend, AT LEAST 5 MINUTES before it starts. If you come in late, you will get an "ARRIVED LATE" on the attendances list. For exemple, Marksmanship starts at 8:30. Be there for maximum 8:25.
Also, if the activity end at noon, parents must plan to be there at least 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE END of the activity. Why? Officers can't leave until ALL of the cadets are with their parents. If we have another activity to attend, it makes us late for the next activity.
So please by respect of the officers and other cadets, be there on time.
ADMINISTRATION/SUPPLY
This will be another busy Tuesday evening as we are expecting many uniforms to be returned. So, we will not distribute or exchange uniform parts. We will prepare them at a separate time and let you know when and where to pick them up.
For our new recruits, we will finalise your inscription (bring all the necessary documents), take your measurements in order to prepare your green uniform and hand it out at a later time during your training. Again, make sure you will be able to wait as we will try to expedite the process but it will take some time to complete the process.
Cadets quitting the 338, it's MORE THAN time to return your uniforms NOW and free spaces for a new cadet to join.
