About the event
All cadets are given an opportunity during the training year to take a familiarization flight either in a cadet program glider or a motorized aircraft (typically a Cessna 172). The objective of those familiarization flights are to make you discover by experimentation what flying an aircraft is all about. This allows you to place the theoretical elements covered in our regular training program in its practical context. You get to live the feelings of taking off the ground, climbing to a safe flight altitude and execute basic manoeuvres such as turns, climb, descent, airport conventional circuit and flight operations.
