About the event
As part of the mandatory Air Cadet program, all cadets must participate in a bush survival exercise for aircrew. The objective is to familiarize our cadets with various outdoor survival techniques.
Cadets will learn to build a shelter, make a fire, cook their meals, and sleep either in a military tent or in an improvised shelter. They will need to apply a wide range of skills and work as a team within their respective training levels, under the guidance of senior cadets and officers.
Cadets must report to the Marie Victorin Community Centre at 6:30 PM on Friday, April 24, 2026, with their personal equipment as listed on the equipment list.
The dress code for this activity is the cadet field uniform (green) with high FTU boots.
