About the event

As part of the Air Cadet mandatory program, all cadets have to participate to a Bush Survival exercise. The objective is to familiarize our cadets with the different techniques to survive in an outdoor environment. Cadets will learn how to build a shelter, make a fire, cook their meals and sleep in a military tent or shelter that they built. They will have to apply a wide range of skills and to work as a team within their respective flights under the leadership of their senior cadets. Cadets will need to report to Marie Victorin Community Center at 06:30 with a cold lunch and their personal equipment listed in the kit list. Cadets will be transported by bus to the camp site and will be brought back at Marie Victorin Community Center at 16:30 on Sunday May 6, 2018. Plenty of fun in perspective with many great things to learn in an outdoor environment.
