Administration office open for new cadet registrations.
FRIDAY, MAY 6
MANDATORY TRAINING: SPORTS NIGHT
Who: All cadets
Where: Antoine Brossard High School
When: from 19:45 - 21:45
Dress code: Sportswear with squadron t-shirt and civilian coat
SATURDAY, MAY 7
MANDATORY : Bush Survival Exercise
Who: All cadets (You must register here: https://www.338squadron.ca/.../bush-survival-exercise...)
When: 7:00AM - 8:00PM
Where: Marie-Victorin Community Centre
Dress for the day
Field training uniform (green) with tall boots
Tilley Hat (no baseball cap)
Toque and black gloves in shirt pocket
Blue winter coat liner if cold weather. To be worn under the green FTU shirt. Not on top of it.
Equipment list:
A small backpack with the following items:
Water bottle filled with water
Pocket knife (optional, no more than 4 inches blade)
Roll of twine (can be purchased at Dollarama)
Small package of tissues
Rain jacket
Extra pair of socks
Personal medication, if needed
Allergy kit (for those with severe allergies)
Small flash light
Meals:
No need to bring your food. Two military rations (Meal Ready to Eat MRE) will be provided to each cadet.
Cadets can bring a light snack for morning or afternoon if they wish (apple, cookies, carrots, etc)
