Aircrew survival exercise
MESSAGE TO THE PARENTS OF CADETS ATTENDING OUR AIRCREW SURVIVAL EXERCISE
Our aircrew survival exercise starts tomorrow and you are certainly preparing your equipment for this outdoor weekend activity. I can't insist enough on the importance that the participating cadets arrive friday night properly dressed and in accordance to the expected weather forecast. The cadet blue uniform MUST NOT BE WORN for this activity. It is an outdoor activity.
At the end of October, the nights are starting to be cold and morning dew is present each morning. All cadets must be wearing proper footwear such as hiking boots or rubber boots for rain. Wearing plain running shoes is not a good idea. It will be important to wear a tuque, gloves, extra pairs of socks and a warm insulated jacket (ideally waterproof) or a rain coat.
Proper personal equipment and dress will make a big difference in providing our cadets a great learning experience. We count on you, dear parents, to ensure that your child is dressed and equipped properly for the activity.
